Barcelona's Pep Guardiola urges players to focus on Levante rather than Real Madrid

"The most important match is always the next one, against Levante. We have to stay as consistent as possible. It all comes down to one thing, playing your game and trying to win," Guardiola said at the pre-match press conference.

Guardiola was then asked about his side's position in the table behind Real Madrid, but the Barca boss stressed that the current situation doesn't worry him.

"I don't want to waste my time talking about things we can't do anything about. You can always get behind in sport. When you are behind, you must have the ambition of trying to catch the leader. It's normal.

"Sometimes you can't do it, but if we weren't trying, we'd be doing something wrong. However, that is not the case. There is nothing odd about being behind such a strong team."

Barcelona currently sit second in the Primera Division table with 31 points from 14 games.
